Committee
The club is managed by an elected committee who are unpaid volunteers. Elections are held in November each year at the clubs Annual General Meeting.
Rule changes can be proposed up to 14 days before and nominations for committee membership can be made up to 7 days before the A.G.M. At the November 2001 A.G.M. Lord Peter Smith of Leigh and Atherton kindly agreed to continue as our Honorary President.
The committee meets on the First Monday of each month. The Club Coach (Duncan Grime) is able to attend the committee meetings. Duncan is paid a weekly salary by the club. Duncan was appointed in December to take over from Gordon Dean who resigned due to other commitments. We wish Gordon the best of luck for the future.
